SP2 for SharePoint (WSS v3 and MOSS 2007)

Service Pack 2 was released today (as I'm guessing everyone knows by now). Instead of making the announcement of deep I would recommend you check out this post on the SharePoint team blog for the official announcement. I will spare you the details of other crazy what to install. J
As when the latest came out I thought I would write a quick guide on the steps I use the facility. Something to ponder before you start. When was the last time you backed up? Knock on wood as an answer.
1. Start time: 11:11 PM
2. I'm checking Windows Update to get the latest patches. It seems that SP1 SQL Server 2008, IE8, and an Office update at random another is waiting to install. I think I'll let them sit another night, I have to get up early in the morning.
3. This environment is a single box with both companies MOSS and SQL Server 2008. MOSS is running the February cumulative update build 12.0.0.6341.
4. Download WSS SP2. 32.9 MB in 29 seconds. Be sure to download the 32-bit or 64 bit you need. Both are available on the linked page.
5. Download MOSS SP2. 270 MB in 3 minutes 54 seconds. Be sure to download the 32-bit or 64 bit you need. Both are available on the linked page.
